Tiger Cubs Competition 2018

7 October 2018

8 cadets from Sussex have taken on the challenge of Tiger Cub which is a military skills competition run by 3 PWRR. The cadets have taken part in stands that are assessed by the staff from 3 PWRR. They have been assessed on a section attack, military knowledge, first aid, stalk, observation, signalling and had their kit inspected. The weather was cold, wet and windy but the cadets were in high spirits.

But after a very difficult weekend, Sussex came out winning the skill at arms stand, the stalk stand and the march and shoot stand. We were also runners up in military knowledge and fieldcraft. The cadets have put in a good shift this weekend and we are very proud, especially with the outstanding performance on the march and shoot. Well done to those who took part; CSgt Taylor, SSgt Miller, Sgt Eyres, Cpl Crole, Cpl Imbimbo, LCpl Lloyd, LCpl Holmwood and Cdt Dyer. Their efforts, teamwork and morale has been great and well done for representing our county
