On Wednesday, the 15th of May 2019 a group 3 cadets decided to go on an exciting trip to the Royal School of Military engineering in Chatham, Kent. They had to be at No.1 brighton by 06:30 hours to begin their day of adventure. They arrived at 08:00 hours and were greeted by very friendly officers and ranks of the Royal Engineers regiment.
They were then split into groups where they were taken to various activities throughout the day, these activities included: indoor assault course, climbing wall, command task, combat boat race, EOD and mil dogs display, plant challenge, a workshop tour, bricklayer challenge and a survey experience.
The most enjoyable activity they took part in was the indoor assault course and the climbing wall, they got to face fresh and exciting challenges and meet new cadets from in and around the south coast.
