He wasn't 'Down in the Tube Station at Midnight' this time as he was with Surrey ACF. Rick Buckler former drummer of The Jam made a guest appearance at the Music Camp at Crowborough Training Camp in Sussex to support the ACF's much admired programme of music.

Rick who still lives in Woking in Surrey, has now committed to supporting the ACF's recruitment campaign. When asked about the Cadet movement he stated "its great to have such an opportunity at this age and its a far greater thing to do than to be stuck behind a computer". Whilst there Rick along with friend and ACF Sgt Instructor Tim Scargill from Redhill Detachment were shown all aspects of the Music Camp programme. The ACF band made up from cadets and adults played a rendition of A Town Called Malice, and from there both were treated to individual pieces of music which the cadets composed themselves.

Rick recently spoke about Surrey ACF on BFBS Radio, and is following this up as part of a new campaign which Surrey ACF has put together for a soon to be National watch this space!
