Siobhan Mundy passes RAF phase one

Siobhan Mundy (past detachment commander for Oxpens central Oxfordshire detachment) has recently passed her phase one training with the Royal Air Force. Just starting her phase two, Siobhan is specialising in RAF Police and aspires to be a dog handler in the future.

Siobhan said,

“The Army Cadets has defiantly given me a boost in the right direction making me ready for a career in the RAF, the basic Fieldcraft skills, attention to detail and self-discipline has made my ten-week phase one a lot more manageable.”

Siobhan was also presented with the Rothschild trophy for ‘Force Protection’ a trophy awarded to the recruit with the highest standard in military skills (Skill at arms, First Aid ect) All of these are activities she has previous experience in from working with the Army Cadets!
