LNR Army Cadet represent schools in Acts of Remembrance.

Cadets from A Company LNR ACF wore their uniforms in two Northamptonshire schools at 11 O’Clock on the 11th November, as their fellow students and staff joined them for an act of Remebrance.

At Northampton Academy In the courtyard area, the cadets from Anzio Detachment led by SSI Grimes, showed their respects in full uniform. After the two minute silence, the cadets remained stood to attention whilst ‘The Last Post’ was played out across the Academy followed by a moving poem, ‘In Flanders Fields’, read by Matthew Bates, the Head Boy at Northampton Academy.


At the same time in Pitsford School a Remembrance commemoration was held which was attended by Two Cadets from Talavera Detachment and the Northamptonshire Cadet RSM, Mathew Wainwright together with LNR ACF’s Padre Steven Trott and members of the Royal British Legion.
