Amba wants to use her skills to give back as an instructor

PI Amba Cooper from Canterbury recently attended the Basic Instructors Course (BIC), she went to the Duke of York Military School for seven years from the age of 11-18. We caught up with her and found out why she wanted to join Kent ACF as a Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV.).

"My old Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) gave me the inspiration to join, I didn't have the best of childhoods and his pastoral care really helped to shape me, this inspired me to get involved with something where I could give back.

I know I can pass on some of my life experiences, everyone is different and has different skills and ways of doing things and I'm looking forward to teaching and sharing that with the younger cadets".
