About Our County

Humberside and South Yorkshire Army Cadet Force is a Youth Organisation that spans North and North East Lincolshire, East and South Yorkshire with over 250 Youth Leaders and 1300 Army Cadets.

For our Cadets from the age of twelve, the Army Cadet Force has something to offer you, whatever background, whatever ability, the Army Cadet Force can offer you fun, challenging and safe experiences to prepare you whatever you chose to do in life.

From the age of 18 we offer a full range of activity for anyone who wants to become a volunteer with us. We offer training and development, whether you want to be a unit leader, instructor, or run the canteen, everyone is valuable and plays an important role in our organisation.

As an Cadet Force Adult Volunteer, you can make a real impact on young people’s lives, whilst taking advantage of exciting experiences and even gaining qualifications. No military background is required; just energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humour!
