We’re looking for more adults to ‘go further’ with county-wide recruitment campaign

12 April 2017

Gwent and Powys ACF is hoping to attract new volunteers across its detachments with a brand new recruitment campaign launched this spring.

The campaign features a variety of adverts across the county and aims to encourage more local adult volunteers to get involved with the Army Cadet Force in Wales. You might spot one of our posters while you're at the supermarket, on the bus, in the local leisure centre, as well as hearing us on the radio.

We'd like more people to experience how being an adult volunteer can help you to go further in life, whether by learning one of the many new skills on offer in the ACF, or by trying new challenges such as rock climbing, kayaking and rifle shooting.

Our adult instructors come from all walks of life, with the ability to become strong roles models for our cadets. No prior military experience is needed and you will receive a detailed induction and training programme, as well as have the opportunity to progress and gain further qualifications during your time as a volunteer.
