Greater Manchester ACF Clapping for Carers - 28 May 2020

29 May 2020

Thank you to everyone for taking part in the weekly #ClapForCarers.

SMI Ian Mackie very proudly put on his full Formal Military Evening Dress to come out and #ClapForCarers. Very smart indeed and a great occasion to wear it.

Cadet LCpl Isobella Mansell clapped for carers with her nan who is also a very proud scout leader. LCpl Mansell is very proud of her aunty who is also an instructor with Greater Manchester ACF, SSI Vickie Mansell. SSI Mansell is a keyworker and has been working long shifts in the supermarket she works playing a huge part in ensuring we all get food onto our tables.

Next time you go shopping please say thank you to all the staff as I know some have been having a difficult time when asking shoppers to follow the social distancing rules.

Thank you to everyone who works in a keyworker role you really have done our nation proud. All of you.

I received another picture of a cadet and his mum but was not told their names and his mum must be back at work as no reply to my email. So, a huge thank you again to another amazing keyworker. Update after receiving the information. Thank you to Cadet Luke Palmer and his lovely mum Lynne who is working long hours as another one of our nations fantastic keyworkers.

Thank you to all the cadets and staff for taking part in the clap for carers and thank you to the parents and carers for sending in the amazing pictures.
