No matter your aims or goals when joining everyone takes away something different. Some will gain confidence and discover potential they never knew they had. One thing is for sure both cadets and adult volunteers gain new skills, qualifications, experiences and friends for life. All while having a unique adventure.
There's no commitment to join the forces after, we just want you to have fun. Being an army cadet means taking on new challenges and experiences and that is why there are adult volunteers to help you reach your potential. We aim to give every young adult the best cadet experience possible.
Our adult volunteers are key in making all this happen, qualifications or experience aren't required to help change a young persons life and yours! We recruit for values and standards, then we train for skills and qualifications. Volunteers run a variety of events for cadets to enjoy from weekday evenings at a location to shooting ranges, expeditions and water sports.
