Commandants camp update

13 August 2019

Tuesday 13th August 2019

What a great day! Well started by Col Mitchell motivational words on training. Lots of busy preparation from A and C Coy for the exercise was evident and the turnout impressive. I must mention our medical team and padre who continue to work flat out to keep cadets and adults feeling cared for. On the adventure training front, the good weather certainly helped the experience for adults and cadets - lots of smiling faces and no shortage of skill on show at both the waterfront and rock face events.

We are fortunate to have such positive civilian and CFAV instructors making a real difference for our enthusiastic cadets. Thanks to Col Martin and the PRO 2LT Sander-Moore for their excellent company, navigation and photography skills, and for acting as traffic cops in a tree falling incident on route - truly good citizens. More tomorrow...
