AUO Sam Hollington – A Memorable Event

“Proud to be part of the oldest and greatest youth organisation in the country”

29 May 2019

Sam Hollington Detachment Commander for the Army Cadet Force based in East Ham, London was extremely proud to be invited to the Worshipful Company of Woolmen’s Diner.

Sam explains”

Alongside my full time job, I volunteer my time as an Army Cadet Force Instructor, I support two company units. 43 being affiliated with the Royal Horse Artillery and 46 being affiliated with the Riffles. The Worshipful Company of Woolmen are also affiliated with the Royal Horse Artillery and generously sponsor the Cadets and the incredible opportunities they are offered.

I was invited to attend their annual ceremony, swearing in a new master of the company. The evening was a great opportunity for me to network and tell the honoured guests about the life changing experiences the Army Cadets offer. Throughout the evening I used the phrase

“Proud to be part of the oldest and greatest youth organisation in the country”

Peter Mantel the 4 Company OC also commented and said” The City of London and North East Sector, Four Company are very proud and appreciate the support given by the Worshipful Company of Woolmen. We look forward to deepening our partnership and supporting future events for the company and honoured guests.”
