Regimental Day – The Royal Anglian Regt – 1st Sept 2019

The imperial War Museum, Duxford was setting for the Regimental Day for The Royal Anglian Regiment.

The sun shone as members of the Regimental Family attended a Drum Head Service at the Royal Anglian Memorial followed by a march past of Regular, Reserve and Cadets all proudly wearing the cap badge of The Royal Anglian Regiment.

Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force were represented by the Corps of Drums and Wisbech Detachment.

Although a very pleasant day it started off not so good as the Corps of Drums managed to get stuck on the A14 which prevented them joining in the March Past but did allow them to join Essex ACF in performing in the main arena. However, Wisbech Detachment joined in the March Past along with cadets from Norfolk and Essex.

It was a great opportunity for the Cadets to visit the Royal Anglian and Cambridgeshire Regt Museum in the Land Warfare Hall and even get a free ride in a AFV 432 vehicle!

It was a great day for the Cadets to join with other Regimental Family Members.
