Presentations made to cadets from No 1 Hereward Company

Two important County Presentations were made to Cadets from No 1 (Hereward) Company last evening in front of an audience of Cadets from Whittlesey Detachment by Col Mark Knight MBE DL, County Commandant.

Cadet Sgt Major CAL LYTLE, Walton Detachment, was promoted to Cadet Regimental Sergeant Majort (RSM) and received his RSM’s Pace Stick – containing the names of previous Cadet RSM’

Cadet Corporal CHARLIE RICE. Whittlesey Detachment, was the first ever to receive the Commandants Coin for Excellence. The coin was introduced in 2019 with the aim of recognising actions and deeds by Cadets and CFAV’s alike which under the current award schemes would go otherwise go unrecognised.

Cpl Rice was nominated to receive the Commandants Coin for is actions in undertaking a Half Marathon sponsored walk in aid of No 1 Company Funds and involving his family in the event.
