Cambridgeshire ACF Corps of Drums Concert

25 February 2019

Conscious that friends and family are often only able to enjoy a brief glimpse of their cadets, Cambridgeshire ACF Corps of Drums arranged a concert at a Peterborough Club.

The two hour programme, organised by the senior cadets and led by the Cadet Drum Major, began a variety of well known Corps of Drum tunes of increasing difficulty. After the interval we were treated to a saxophone solo, saxophone trio and keyboard, vocal effects, and a drum solo. The concert concluded with the complete Corps of Drums playing together again; including the theme from 'Blackadder'.

Friends and family all very much enjoyed the evening. Officer-in-Charge of the Corps of Drums, Mr Marcellus Roberts, commented that it had been great fun putting together and preparing for the evening. As for the cadets; they are very keen to do a similar show again!
