JCIC Success

29 January 2018

Cadets have been working hard attending their Junior Cadet Instructors Cadre (JCIC). Over the course of the weekend cadets learn basic instructional techniques and lesson structures and are then assessed teaching a lesson to their peers on the final day. We caught up with L/Cpl Cosier from 6(Chesham) Platoon to ask her about the course. L/Cpl Cosier said "I attended the course as I wanted a qualification to teach, something that wasn't a Star Pass that I could use on a parade night. It was a hard course but enjoyable, you have to rely on some previous knowledge and work together, helping each other out." L/Cpl Cosier taught a drill lesson 'Dismissing and Falling Out' which went well and successfully completed the course. Well done to all our cadets who worked hard and successfully completed the JCIC.
