This week we bid a sad farewell to our senior female cadet C/Sjt Grace Farrow from 4 (Aylesbury) Platoon. C/Sjt Farrow joined cadets in 2012 to make friends, do something different and because her grandad had served in the Army. She is leaving as she has turned 18 and can no longer be a cadet.
Over her cadet career C/Sjt Farrow has attended 5 annual camps, completed her Junior Cadet Instructors Course, Senior Cadet Instructors Course and the BTEC Level 2 in Teamwork and Personal Development. Additionally, she has represented the County and SE Region at National Athletics and visited Belgium on our WW1 Battlefield Tour.
C/Sjt Farrow said the highlight of her cadet career was this year’s annual camp where she led E Company to win the annual Drill Competition, and spent her time training junior cadets, watching them progress and achieve.
Her Platoon Commander, AUO Jenni Ginn said “C/Sjt Farrow is a great leader who will be truly missed, she’s always enthusiastic and inspires other cadets to do their best and achieve.”
We wish you well for the future and thank you for your service.
