SMI Debbie Callaghan, County Media Officer
Cadets and staff from across Greater Manchester ACF take part in selling poppies to support the Royal British Legion (RBL) each year during the annual Poppy Appeal. The Royal British Legion organises this appeal to raise funds in support of serving and ex-serving members of the British Armed Forces and their families. The ACF, in partnership with the RBL, contribute by selling poppies, typically during the weeks leading up to Remembrance Day, also known as Armistice Day on November 11th. This act of selling poppies serves as a gesture of remembrance for those who have sacrificed their lives in service to the country and helps raise money for the welfare of veterans and their families.
