Over 25 Cadets were joined by some of our new Adult Potential Instructors (PI’s) learning about the Cadet Force Instructional Techniques in order to equip them to be able to Instruct Cadets both virtually and when we return to face to face training.

Course Leader Capt Kerry Barker said: “It’s been a great start to the course with a mix of presentations, discussions and polls all adding to the interactivity for the students, both Cadets and Adults. Having to deliver this virtually has given us an opportunity to develop a new approach, with the students gaining skills and confidence to instruct both virtually and face to face. A real bonus in these challenging times. “

The course continues this Thursday evening with a further two Saturday sessions for students to prepare, practice and deliver their own short lesson for assessment by the course staff.”
