Last night at Wells Platoon, Normandy Company, Alistair McBride, the Wells Poppy Appeal organiser from the Royal British Legion, presented a cheque for £200 in recognition of the platoon’s outstanding service and support during the 2022 Poppy Appeal. Cadet CSM Jacob Hole receives the cheque on behalf of the platoon.
Platoon Commander, SSI Natalie Eccles, said that, “The cheque is a great surprise and honour and it means that we can at last afford a new platoon standard as well as buying some great goodies for the cadets who do such a great job here, particularly when it means giving up their weekends."
