The Argylls Are Back!
Our new-look museum is home to a wealth of fascinating objects and stories, bringing the rich cultural links of one of Scotland’s great Highland regiments to life. Our story connects the Regiment with the communities from which its soldiers and their families came, while our new thematic approach means there is now something for everyone.
We embarked on our lengthy transformation project in September 2018 in order to preserve the legacy of The Argylls for future generations. Our ambitious project has been made possible through the generosity of the National Lottery Heritage Fund together with many other donors, large and small, and our partners at Historic Environment Scotland.
