8 cadets from A and C Company attended the National Rugby Finals at Altcar, Liverpool, on 01 Apr 23.
All the cadets were a credit to Suffolk ACF and showed grit and determination throughout the day, some playing 9 games on the day. It was a long day with plenty of sunshine and excellent playing conditions.
Eastern County played really well coming top overall with the
* The Senior boys came 3rd but only on countback, as the top 3 teams had the same points.
* Our Junior boys won their category
* Senior girls came in second* The Junior girls came 6th out of 9 but showed incredible grit and enthusiasm right to the end. Unfortunately, we had to pull out of the last game due to injuries and could no longer field a team of seven.
A long and tiring couple of days but our cadets enjoyed and achieved.

Congratulations to all the cadets who took part, all will receive Regional Colours. The winning Boys' team will receive their National Colours.
All the Cdts who took part in the Regional competition will also receive County colours for Rugby.
