A Company have enjoyed spending their Bank Holiday weekend away on their Spring Camp in Thetford, Norfolk!

Spring Into Action
Report by SI Lucy Waller
It was a great opportunity to learn and develop new skills like, Navigation, Skill at Arms, First Aid, Drill, Fieldcraft, Shooting and Expedition.
The expeditions took place in the beautiful Norfolk countryside, where the cadets planned their route, cooked their own meals and carried their own kit along the way. Using their navigation skills, everyone made it back to camp! Expedition helps to practice subjects that you will come across in everyday life and also a great way to make new friends and fantastic memories!
All cadets took part in Skill at Arms Training and passed their Air Rifle weapons handling test for the first time this year, a great achievement with a lot of smiling faces after! They even had the opportunity for some target shooting, with some great shots.🎯

Skill at Arms Training before going on the range
For many of them it was the first time away from home but their smiles as they left camp tell me that they enjoyed themselves
Major Jordan Peplow (Officer Commanding A' Company)

On target for a great summer camp
Officer Commanding A' Company, Major J Peplow expressed how impressed he was with the Cadets; saying “It was great to see so many of A Company’s Cadets enjoying Spring Camp. For many of them it was the first time away from home but their smiles as they left camp tell me that they enjoyed themselves. Thank you to all the staff of A Company for making it happen!”
To top it all off the weather was great and made A Company’s Spring Camp even better.
It was a fantastic long weekend jam packed full of activities and experiences and a good precursor to whats in store for them at annual camp!
