On March 11th, 2022, during the opening of a new exhibition for the late Duke of Edinburgh at The Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire Museum in Salisbury. Our two Lord-Lieutenant Cadets for Wiltshire, Staff Cadet Sjt Maj Giles and Cdt Cpl Max Glibbery, were presented with The prestigious Rifles Coin.
Presenting the coins were, Maj Tom Brown, OC B Coy 5 RIFLES, Anne Larsen-Burnett Rifles Regional Secretary South, and Lt Col (Retd) Tim Lerwill, Rifles County Colonel Wiltshire
To mark the significant achievement of being appointed a Lord-lieutenant Cadet, Brigadier Dan Reeve MC, wrote to the cadets to congratulate them and to advise that they would be presented with The Rifles Coin for representing The Rifles and Wiltshire Army Cadet Force in such a prestigious appointment.

As The Rifles Regional Colonel London and South, I write to congratulate you on your appointment as a Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for The County of Wiltshire.
As I trust you are already aware, this is a highly prestigious appointment for which you have been very carefully selected. All of us in the Rifles are very proud of all you have done to justify your selection for this role and we wish you the very best success as you carry out your responsibilities.
