SMI Debbie Callaghan, County Media Officer Greater Manchester ACF
Remembrance Sunday is a Memorial Day held in Commonwealth countries to commemorate and honour those who served to defend our democratic freedoms and way of life.
We unite across faiths, cultures, and backgrounds to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth.
A fantastic turnout at Remembrance Parades across Greater Manchester. So many cadets and staff came out, in the sunshine, and took part. The pride felt by everyone was and is always huge.
Thank you so much to all the wonderful staff from the following Detachments who have sent pictures of their Remembrance Day Parade.
Belle Vue, Bolton (RA), Bolton (Lancs), Bredbury, Bury, Collyhurst, Cheadle, Clifton (pictures to follow), Failsworth, Heywood, Hindley, Hyde, Leigh, Levensulme, Oldham, Ramsbottom, Reddish, Royton, Rusholme, Sale, Salford, Stalybridge, Stockport, Stretford, Wigan.
