This week saw welcome some special visitors from the 1st Queen’s Dragoon Guards (The Welsh Cavalry) (QDG). Mold along with Porthmadog detachment are proud to be affiliated with the QDG.
Both detachments welcomed visitors from the Regiments Engagement Team who spent time chatting to cadets and introducing them to some of their equipment.
Star of the evenings was Lance Corporal Emrys Forlan Jones the QDG Regimental Mascot. LCpl Jones, together with his personal chaperone Farrier Major Mark Holland, can often be seen visiting events in Wales.
Both detachments had great evenings and look forward to returning visits from their affiliated regiment in the near future.
