NEWS

It has continued to be a busy week across Dorset ACF, with, as usual, lots going on. Here's the round-up of news :

BOVINGTON & PURBECK:

It was only Cadet Winch’s 3rd parade night and already she has signed up to her Bronze D of E Award! 'Badger', one of Dorset ACF's #everycadetbear was only too happy to take her form to HQ!!

CHRISTCHURCH:

There were presentations and promotions before Fieldcraft training commenced.

Following the recent Shooting day, there were a host of badges presented as well as an APC Basic Pass for Cdt Lloyd and a 2* Pass for Cdt LCpl I Ellis. LCpl Ellis was also promoted to Cpl and received a Detachment Commanders Pin Badge for his excellent efforts helping run the recent PT Sessions.

The Detachment Cadet of the Month Award was also presented to Cdt Shortell, who has, since the return to training not only excelled with his training but also his 'can-do' attitude and he's recruited a new Cadet too!

Congratulations everyone.

PORTLAND:

Another Detachment growing in strength, with a new recruit joining them this week and parading for the first time.

Some fantastic stuff going on across the county, if you'd like to be part of it why not come and join us as a Cadet or Adult Volunteer?
