Major Paul Butler has recently been appointed as Officer Commanding of Kent ACF Squadron RE. Paul joined Kent ACF in 1995, and has held various positions from Company Sergeant Major, Sergeant Major Instructor, to Staff Officer 2ic. He was commissioned as an Officer in 2014.
He has given over 28 years’ loyal service to the organisation in total. Paul also volunteers as a Special Sergeant with Kent Police and lives in the Medway Towns.
This senior role allows Major Paul Butler to carry forward the Squadron's rich traditions and build upon the inspirational work of Major Ryalls, who has been instrumental in shaping the lives of our cadets across the Medway Towns. Including Detachments in: Dartford, Gillingham, Gravesend, Rochester, Strood, Swanley and Walderslade. Kent ACF Squadron RE 56 adults and 261 cadets which Paul will be responsible for.
