The Commandant is pleased to announce that Captain Daniel Jones has been appointed to the position of Company Commander of Albuhera Company and promoted to Major in succession to Major Andrea Burton.
Daniel, who has been an instructor with the ACF for 13 years, previously held the position of Albuhera Company Training Officer. During his service, Daniel has held a number of positions including detachment instructor and detachment commander in Bradley and Wrexham detachments and a training position with Crecy Company. Daniel was awarded the Cadet Force Medal in 2018.
Always keen to get stuck in Daniel has led teams in numerous Tough Mudder events, field exercises, and training teams for the Cadet Cambrian Patrol Competition, all of which have involved cadets from Albuhera company.
Commandant Martin L Craven said, “I am delighted to make this appointment following the retirement of Andrea Burton and I wish him success in his new position.”
Daniel said, “I’m really looking forward to working with the staff and cadets of Albuhera Company to produce some exciting and challenging training.”
