The high temperatures are beginning to impact on training this morning. Cadets are kept in cool shaded areas. Basic Cadre cadets have spent the morning brushing up on the Cadet Information systems in classrooms in readiness to progress to the next stage of cadet radio operation. Meanwhile others were sitting their Skill at Arms qualifications. A successful pass in this subject is necessary before cadets can progress onto the ranges for target shooting.
Some of the more senior cadets sat in the shade of the trees and planned their expedition exercise.
