Those taking part are challenged to walk 10 miles on any day during the month of March to raise funds for the charity’s life-changing mental health treatment for veterans. They can choose how and when to participate, adjusting the event to their own personal challenge - ten miles in a day, spreading it across the month or maybe even running 10 miles as fast as possible!SSI Hannah Welshman, the Detachment Commander for Ebbw Vale, is hoping to run 50 miles, and three cadets and a parent are planning their 10 mile walk (in a socially distanced way of course) on Saturday 27th March. So far they have raised almost £200 for the Gwent & Powys Team. There are cadets and adults from different companies across G&P taking part, and of course there is still plenty of time to get involved and support Combat Stress, either through talking the challenge or making a donation. If you want to find out more, why not get in touch?Good luck to all of those cadets and adults who are involved - we’re right behind you and supporting all the way!
