A large number of Cadets and staff from Greater Manchester Army Cadet Force gave up their Sunday on the 10th October to help with the Manchester Marathon 2021.
Cadets and staff had an early start at their Detachments to get to the start point and help other volunteers store the 20,000 plus runners’ personal bags whilst they ran.
Following lunch, the cadets welcomed runners with cheers and applause and a welcome bottle of water.
The cadets showed the people of Greater Manchester how great they are and the support they do and can give to Greater Manchester.
A long but great day for all involved.
