Normal lessons took a back seat at the Lytchett & Upton Detachment last night as they welcomed guests which included, East (El Alamein) Company Commander Major Brooks, CSMI Bean, and Cadet CSjt Ella McAlister from Christchurch Detachment.
After a short address from both Maj. Brooks and CSMI Bean the evening moved to, what many Cadets online felt was the highlight of the evening, a superb presentation from CSjt McAlister.
Speaking about her time with the ACF CSjt McAlister described her life and achievements since the very first day she walked into a Detachment.
Detachment Commander SSI Shaun Fudge said: "In an honest and rousing speech she, not only proved what is available and achievable to all Cadets but also gave hope, support and encouragement to all Cadets online."
He added "CSjt McAlister displayed all the confidence and characteristics you would like to see in every Cadet. I was genuinely amazed at such a truly morale-boosting speech and I believe that CSjt MAllister is a fantastic Ambassador for the ACF."
