L/Cpl Samantha Legate and her sister raise money for the Royal Papworth Hospital Charity after Grandad's recent diagnosis of Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Samantha, who is a cadet at Waterbeach Detachment, and her sister Emma raised £315 for the charity by completing the Insane Terrain Mud Run in September. Once the race was over Samantha and Emma also lend a helping hand by Marshalling the event and encouraging Samantha over the finish line.
A presentation evening was held at Waterbeach Detachment where Samantha and her Sister Emma presented the Cheque for £315 to members of the Charity.
This went towards Samantha's 3 Star cadet in the community, as part of the Army Proficiency Certificate.
A fantastic achievement for a fantastic charity.
