19 November 2022

  • Argyll And Sutherland Highlanders Battalion ACF

The JCIC has two purposes. Firstly it initiates the senior cadet into the techniques of instruction; and secondly it assesses the cadet’s ability as a potential instructor, with particular reference to his or her possible selection to undertake the Senior Cadet Instructors Cadre at 4-Star level.

Over the weekend sixteen 2 star cadets from across the battalion came together at Arrochar Training Centre for the Junior Cadet Instructors Course.
CFIT training was also carried out along side some best teaching practices. After a long weekend the battalion now has now gained 16 new junior cadet instructors.
