On Sunday 16th October, 14 of our dedicated cadets and 3 CFAVs from No2 (Cromwell) Company volunteered at the Cambridge Town & Gown 10k Race at Midsummer Common, Cambridge. From setting up the fences, to preparing the medals - our cadets got stuck in right away! By 10:30, the first finishers crossed the line. Our cadets were there to cheer them on and hand out the ‘finisher’ medals got each runner.

Our cadets also helped on the 'goodie' bag section, and they also took control of the water station. A huge well done to all of the cadets and CFAVs who gave up their time to volunteer at the race.

We made a huge impact, and were thanked for our contribution, and the cadets were also rewarded with free snacks from the 'goodie' bag section. Thanks to LT Parker for organising the troops.
