SMI Debbie Callaghan, County Media Officer
Today, on Armistice Day, cadets and staff were based across various locations in Greater Manchester, showing their support for the Royal British Legion (RBL) by selling poppies.
At 11 am, everyone paused for two minutes, to pay their respect. For some cadets, this solemn tribute happened alongside veterans, as they collectively honoured and remembered those whose lives was lost and remembered those who have served in the armed forces.
Thank you to the following detachments for your hard work today.

'They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.'
