This month we say goodbye and good luck to #teamMACF Cadet Lance Corporal Southern from 4 Company, who leaves us at the age of 18.
SMI Herbert -Detachment Commander has told us::
"When Cdt LCpl Southern started he was a quiet and reserved person and during his time as a Cadet he grew into a more out going person. In the unit he was always willing to take on maintenance of the unit such as cleaning and helping with NAAFI.
Cdt LCpl Southern also attended Annual Camps and Company weekends on a regular basis, as well as Company training events.

He also attended other events such as the Liverpool Half Marathon and the Liverpool Santa Dash, he has also helped collect for the Christmas appeal for the Rotary club. Most recently he was awarded a Liverpool City Council Citizen Award and a Lord Lieutenants' Award for administering First Aid to an elderly gentleman who had been attacked in a local park.
Cadet Lance Corporal Southern is going to be missed in the unit by all the cadets we all wish him all the very best for his future career, which I believe is to be an accountant."
