Falklands Company - Summer Camp Memories…
The Cadets and Adults from the Falklands Training Company have been back home for a few days now, with time to recover and relax after the intensity of a week of training.
They thoroughly enjoyed their week, and without exception talked about how fantastic it was to be back, face-to-face and out doing the practical hands on activities that the Army Cadet Force is famous for. Besides the ‘getting back into it’ and having lots of fun, one of their goals was to encourage and support cadets to achieve their 2* APC badges, and they had huge successes, with all of those attending coming away with subject passes or, in some cases, the complete award!
From shooting to drill, teamwork to fieldcraft, sleeping out under the stars to adventure training, the sounds of excited chatter, laughter, enjoyment and constant enthusiasm were consistent throughout. In short, they had a blast!
A huge thank you to the Adult Instructors and Permanent Staff Team for doing such an amazing job and making this happen, and to the cadets for being such a fantastic group. We hope you enjoy these memories of our return to training.
