Calling Senior Cadets who wish to attend an Exercise in Gibraltar

I wanted to make you aware of a fantastic opportunity that is available to take part in Exercise Wyvern Warrior 22. The exercise is open to all senior cadets within the South West Region and will take place in Gibraltar, near Spain, in April 2022. Aside from being an interesting and historical place to visit, Cadets will have the opportunity to carry out an exercise in the tunnels within the Rock of Gibraltar and enjoy a day’s Adventurous Training, among other activities.
Cadets must be a minimum of 16 years old and hold at least ACF 3 star complete. I am aware that many of you are not yet 3 star complete, but if you believe that you can complete all subjects by end January 2022, then we will consider your application. We will look at putting on additional training, for subjects needed by the majority of applicants, but it will be up to individuals to attend all training events to enable them to pass all 3 star subjects.
Further details are:
a. Dates: 6 -14 April 2022.
b. Location: Devils Tower Camp (DTC) Gibraltar.
c. Cost: Overall cost per person will be £250. However with grant applications and support from County it is hoped that the personal contribution will be significantly less (in the region of £100 - £150 per Cadet).
If you wish to be considered for a place on Exercise Wyvern Warrior 22, please complete an application form (attached) and return to wx-wil-ao2@rfca.org.uk . All applications will be reviewed by myself, Deputy Commandant, County Training Officer and Assistant County Training Officer, in conjunction with your OC. We will only consider Cadets with a good attendance record and those displaying the highest standards of behaviour. Applications must be submitted to County HQ by no later than Thursday 25 November 2021.
