The Bank Holiday weekend was also the weekend of fun for the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh expeditions which took place around Meopham and Luddesdown in Kent.

28 cadets, 10 staff and Charlie and Bob the DofE bears headed off to Kent for the expedition part of the DofE award. The Bronze group headed back on the Sunday while the two silver groups spent an extra night at Meopham. We were very lucky with the weather and indeed sun cream was needed on two of the days and the nights were not overly cold. Another tired yet triumphant group of cadets arrived back at Blackheath after their successful expedition!

Many thanks to Sergeant Major Goodall who organised the weekend!
