Last year CSjt Ella McAlister submitted her design for a new ACF Cycling Jersey in a national competition and was lucky enough to emerge as the overall winner.

Part of the prize was that the winning design would be made into an actual Jersey and today, CSjt McAlister took delivery of the physical item from her design.

She said: "I was so pleased to win the competition late last year and couldn't wait to see the finished product. It is so cool to know a design I came up with will be worn to represent the ACF across the uk" adding "I age out in the next week so I'm going to donate this fabulous prize to my Detachment to hopefully inspire my fellow Cadets to always try and compete, either in sports or in other types of competition, you just never know unless you try"

It's been a bumper time for the Christchurch Detachment with competiton wins, picking up a Detachment square on the new ACF Monopoly Board and a Paddleboard and lessons from ACF Ambassador - Jordan Wylie, along with some County competition wins for videos and photographs to do with DofE.

It certainly proves you have to be in it, to win it!
