Cdt Zak Kemp Howarth had assisted a gentleman in Belper who had had a fall and broke his leg. Taking charge of the situation, he called for an ambulance, staying with him throughout and keeping him at ease.
Cdt Kemp Howarth, speaking afterwards, felt he had done nothing special, however his first aid training, taught within the ACF, kicked in instinctively and he had the confidence to take control of the situation.
