On Saturday 15th January, 13 cadets, along with adult staff attended a 1* First Aid training and testing day at Long Eaton Detachment.
First Aid is a highly important life skill taught in the Army Cadet Force, which can often prepare the cadets and adult staff if they ever came across somebody in need of first aid.
At this level, the cadets are taught how to perform CPR, how to place a casualty into the recovery position and how to use bandages and slings effectively.
The cadets had a very successful day with plenty of first aid passes.
Huge thanks to SSI Denner, SI Herbert and SI Bulloch for running the training day.
