Lt Col Rob Simpkin, Deputy Commandant Suffolk ACF, raised a fantastic £436 for the charity Walking with the Wounded.
Through out all of December Lt Col Simpkin walked 100 Miles, starting
to do his walk at 0530 in the cold dark morning's and in all the winter
weather conditions, before starting his normal 0800-1700 work day. Lt
Col Simpkin was even interviewed on BBC local radio about his fund
Walking Home For Christmas is Walking With The Wounded's annual,
nationwide walking challenge to support our work with the NHS -
empowering ex-military and their families who are in a downward spiral
due to poor mental health to thrive once more.
