CUMBRIA ARMY CADET FORCE EXERCISE ANTIGUAN VENTURE 2024

WHAT?

Exercise Antiguan Venture 2024 will be Cumbria ACF's second deployment to the Caribbean Islands of Antigua and Barbuda in our newly established exchange program.

As part of the exercise, Cadets can expect to take part in a number of exciting and unique activities including sailing, swimming with pigs and stingrays, and a visit to Nelsons Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cadets will also take part in the annual Antiguan Independence Day parade and have chance to relax on tropical white sandy beaches.

WHEN?

October half term 2024. (Exact dates TBC)

WHO?

You must be aged between 16 – 18 years old as of 1 October 2024
You must have a passport that is valid until at least 1 June 2025
You must be able to confidently swim in open water.

COST?

A personal contribution of £500 is required. Remaining costs will be generated by grants and Cadet fundraising activities
