Kent Police - an arresting event!

Cadet parents, Sgt and PC Mc-Iver-Hall from Kent Police Force paid a visit to Cranbrook Detachment recetly to spice up an ordinary January parade night. They talked to the cadets about the roles of modern police officers and what the cadet's perceptions were of the police. After a short talk on some of the dangers facing young people and things they can do to help their local communities, they demonstrated several techniques from using riot shields to entering a house, through to using a baton. Spending a few minutes in the police van cell and being handcuffed were particularly good fun, but seeing the instructors being arrested and carted off was a real highlight!
