A massive well done to Cpl Benito Berardi and Cpl Toby McBrien of Ballygowan Detachment, F Company who both have completed and been awarded a BTEC Level 2 in Teamwork and Personal Development in the Community.
These qualifications are made available to our Cadets through CVQO - the Cadet Vocational Qualification Organisation, a UK education charity, providing vocational qualifications to youth group members including our Cadets and CFAV’s. If you are interested in learning more or would like to sign up, please speak to your Detachment Commander.
This qualification is much more than another badge for their uniforms, the level 2 which they have completed is worth the equivalent of an extra GCSE at Grade A-C - not bad for free is it! And in these uncertain times this qualification is an extra string to the bow when applying for further education or employment.
