She was awarding a number of certificates in recognition of exceptional voluntary service by members of the Reserves, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers and cadets - and Yorkshire (N&W) ACF was well represented!
A Company's Cadet Sergeant Rosie Nelson was awarded the role of Lord Lieutenant's Cadet (Army) and will now support the Lord Lieutenant in a range of ceremonial duties for the next year. Only cadets who are of the highest standard can even be considered for this award, so it was a great honour for this Malton Detachment cadet to receive it.

B Company's Company Commander, Major Rory Romani, received a CFAV certificate in recognition of his leadership at B Company. This was especially evident during the suspension of face-to-face training, where he coordinated a highly successful move to online training that kept his Company's members in touch and their skills on track.
A Company's SMI Arthur Joy was also honoured at the ceremony, receiving a certificate in recognition of his dedicated voluntary work as Detachment Commander at Catterick Detachment. As the photos reflect, this was an event for friends, family and colleagues to come together and celebrate the achievements of these excellent volunteers.
Congratulations to all of you!
