Over the weekend 20 – 22 May 2022 Major Chris Townson and some of the amazing adult volunteers from across Greater Manchester ACF hosted a Skill at Arms & Pre SCIC-Training weekend for cadets from across Greater Manchester ACF.
The aim of the weekend was to give every cadet who attended the camp training and assessment on the cadet rifles as part of the APC Syllabus to enable them to pass through their star levels.
The cadets also received a presentation on the great benefits of the DofE - The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, and a Cadet in the Community Talk.
The Senior Cadets who attended the Pre SCIC-Training were taught how to deliver a Skill at Arms revision lesson which was then presented to the junior cadets.
A great weekend with lots of passes. Well done everyone and thanks to all the amazing adult volunteers for attending the weekend to give the cadets a positive cadet experience.
